Tags help you better catalog and filter your tracking elements: links, pixels, campaigns and conversions. Tags can be associated to tracking elements only from the specific pages (eg.: list of campaigns). Clicking on the tag you will see the list of all the elements containing that tag. Tags are also useful to get better search results.
You can tag a single or multiple elements (links, pixels, campaigns,...) at once.
What is a Tag:
In information systems, a tag is a non-hierarchical keyword or term assigned to a piece of information (such as a link or a campaign). This kind of metadata helps describe an item and allows it to be found again by browsing or searching. Not to be confused with Markup language or HTML element tags. [Source: Wikipedia]
